Wine Country Futbol Club  was started out of the love for soccer. Where it all started was in the year 2022 based in the city of Santa Rosa, it all began with the passion for soccer and to create something special out of it. When it started there were only 11 players starting out, this is also a family oriented club. ​

Francisco Castanon coached for several years and with the passion for the sport he was able to create a club that is both affordable and accessible to everyone in his community. Francisco wanted to be able to give everyone the opportunity to fall in love with the sport like he was able to. Thus making Francisco Castanon the original founder of Wine Country Futbol Club.
